Show Report - 01/04/2022 - Elgin

3 of our boxers travelled to Keith for a show, Mason was up first (it was touch and go as to whether it would go ahead as his opponent was 16 months older than him) but both coaches and officials agreed that they would see how he went. Mason boxed well and the result was a split decision in favour of the home boxer Findlay Gardener from Elgin.

Conor was up next and was against a similar experienced opponent. Conor found it hard to find his rhythm against the southpaw but boxed well. The result was a unanimous decision for the home boxer Tyler Sked from Elgin.

Finally Finlay was up, the bout started hard and fast but Finlay waited and came into his own at the end of round 2 and 3 unfortunately the result went in favour of the home boxer Liam Shiels.

All 3 should be extremely proud of themselves as we all are and continue with the hardwork in the gym. Roll on the next outing at The Northern District Championships🥊
