Show Report - 21/05/2022 - Skyax

Another great performance tonight from Shaun but unfortunately wasn’t enough to secure the win, quality rounds in the bag none the less! 💪

He stuck to the plan in the first round staying on the outside and not getting caught up in a scrap. HIs footwork was fantastic and his opponent struggled to land anything substantial while Shaun countered and moved. Close round and one which could have gone either way.

Second round saw Shaun try to adopt the same plan with lower punch rate in a bid to conserve energy. This allowed his opponent to win some vital exchanges meaning it was all to play for in the 3rd.

Shaun started strong in the last round and landed a brilliant combination at the start of the round to throw his opponent back against the ropes and set a precedence for the rest of the fight! Some great exchanges but Shaun stayed on the front foot much more in the round to win it convincingly in our eyes!

Ultimately it wasn’t to be tonight but having spent a bit of time out of the ring lately it was a fantastic return and just the performance he needed to get him back into it! Shaun is due out again next week and ready to put on another show! 🥊🔥💪
